Day 3-Sea Day

Today we did make it to main dining room breakfast and Amy and I did enjoy the very large French toast.

To gain an appetite before lunch we decided to walk around the ship and also play a little shuffleboard.

For lunch we went back to the main dining room and try that first time.  The choices weren’t the best but was all right.

After lunch we decided it was about time to try out those fancy water slides on the ship. It was plenty warm and very sunny. The two racer sides were pretty cool where they had lights shining through into the tubes different patterns as you went down. Tidal Wave is short but has a nice steep drop at the beginning and then you go very high up to the top to the edge with your raft before landing back in the pool water.
In the afternoon they had the first showing of the ice show. Like most of Royal Caribbean’s ice shows they were impressive nicely done. We also used our fancy gold Sea Pass cards to get us reserved seating for the show.

It was then time to get ready for dinner in the main dining room. Amy got to wear her new dress she bought for the cruise. Tonight’s dinner included chicken Cordon Bleu.

After dinner we made our way to the headline show of Motown Divas. We weren’t sure we’d like it but the music was really good.

After a good night call to the kids, we then grabbed our nightly Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and took it up to the pool deck to watch Rogue One outside on the big screen.
I’m making this short since it is late after the movie and I have to get up early tomorrow morning because we will be in Honduras and our excursion starts at 8:15 AM.
